The company I work for bought a Google mapping API. Supplied us with the code. The issue is that because of the pesty _DoClick function, when data is entered for the map search, the correct map appears in the web browser for a second and then the original page is reloaded, losing the mapped page. I have checked this site as well as the 4-5 and 6-7 sites and searched the internet for an answer with no luck for a work around.

I am using a page (not a form).
I have tried deselecting Use JavaScript when generating pages but to no avail.

My HTML code that creates the address field:

<input id="address" type="text" placeholder="Any Place" onkeypress="handleKeyPress(event,this.form)" class="lineheight" autofocus />

All I want to happen is that when the web user presses enter the map requested stays on the screen.

I am sure hoping that someone has an answer to this challenge.

Thanks Mike
